This Privacy Policy explains how Society of Wealth Organization Inc. (“S.O.W.,” “Society of Wealth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit societyofwealth.org, submit a form, join or interact with our community, register for a program or event, make a purchase, or otherwise use our services.
Our approach: We collect information to operate the community, respond to interest, deliver education and events, support members, and improve the experience. We aim to collect only what is reasonably useful, explain our practices clearly, and provide meaningful choices.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information processed by S.O.W. through our website, HubSpot forms and CRM, community and membership platforms, events, programs, emails, surveys, customer support, and related online or offline interactions. It does not govern a third party’s independent privacy practices, even when we link to or use that service.
Additional notices may apply to a specific event, travel experience, employment application, facilitator relationship, or regulated service. If a specific notice conflicts with this Policy, the more specific notice controls for that context.
2. Personal Information We Collect

3. Sensitive Information
Some forms, programs, or discussions may invite information that could be sensitive, such as financial circumstances, health or accessibility needs, family goals, spiritual interests, or emotional experiences. Submit only information you are comfortable sharing and that is relevant to the requested purpose.
We do not request Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, account passwords, or full payment-card numbers through ordinary contact forms or community posts. Do not place that information in open-text fields. When sensitive information is reasonably necessary, we seek to limit access and use it only for the disclosed purpose.
4. Sources of Information
We collect information:
- Directly from you when you browse, submit a form, apply, register, purchase, post, complete an exercise, attend, or communicate with us.
- From service providers and platforms that host our website, forms, CRM, community, events, payments, analytics, communications, or content.
- From other participants or referral sources when someone introduces or invites you, subject to their responsibility to share information lawfully.
- From public or professional sources such as public websites, professional profiles, or public business records when reasonably relevant to outreach, verification, safety, or partnership review.
- Automatically through cookies, server logs, pixels, and similar technologies.
5. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- operate, maintain, secure, personalize, and improve the website and Services;
- respond to inquiries and evaluate interest in the S.O.W. Social Club;
- create and manage accounts, memberships, registrations, and access;
- deliver courses, workshops, orientations, cohorts, events, communities, resources, and support;
- communicate about schedules, safety, changes, transactions, and requested information;
- send newsletters, invitations, and marketing consistent with your choices;
- process payments, refunds, credits, discounts, and accounting records;
- understand engagement, measure performance, conduct surveys, and develop new offerings;
- moderate content, uphold Community Standards, investigate complaints, and protect people and systems;
- prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
- comply with law, contracts, court orders, and valid government requests;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: processing needed to provide a membership, registration, purchase, event, account, or requested service.
- Consent: processing based on a choice you make, such as certain marketing, cookies, recordings, or optional disclosures. You may withdraw consent, though prior lawful processing remains valid.
- Legitimate interests: operating and improving the Services, responding to inquiries, preventing misuse, protecting the community, and conducting proportionate outreach, balanced against individual rights.
- Legal obligation: processing needed for tax, accounting, consumer-protection, accessibility, safety, privacy, or other legal requirements.
- Vital interests: limited processing reasonably necessary to protect someone’s life or safety.
7. HubSpot Website, Forms, CRM, and Communications
Our website and contact experiences may use HubSpot to host pages, collect form submissions, manage contact records, analyze site activity, and send communications. Information submitted through a HubSpot form may be added to our HubSpot CRM and associated with later interactions. HubSpot processes information under its own service terms and as a provider to S.O.W.
HubSpot cookies and tracking behavior depend on our account configuration and your consent choices. You can use the cookie banner or cookie-preference controls available on the site to manage non-essential tracking where offered.
8. Community and Membership Platforms
We currently may use Skool or another platform to host private community, membership, course, or event functions. When you create an account or join through such a platform, the platform may collect information directly under its own privacy policy and may provide S.O.W. with account, membership, payment-status, and engagement information needed to administer the community.
Do not assume that a private community post is visible only to S.O.W.; it may be visible to other members according to the platform settings. Review your profile and privacy settings and share thoughtfully.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on or associated with a browser or device. We and our providers may use:
- Strictly necessary technologies for security, forms, load balancing, preferences, and core functions;
- Functional technologies to remember choices and improve features;
- Analytics technologies to understand visits, engagement, and performance; and
- Advertising technologies only when configured, to measure campaigns or provide relevant outreach.
For more information, review our Cookie Policy. Browser settings may block or delete cookies, but some features may not work correctly. Where required, non-essential cookies are controlled through consent settings.
10. When We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers and contractors that support hosting, forms, CRM, community, payments, email, text, analytics, security, video, event registration, customer support, and professional services;
- Facilitators, event staff, volunteers, and program partners who need information to deliver an offering, support accessibility, maintain safety, or respond to a request;
- Other participants when you choose to post, create a profile, join a directory, speak in a group, or otherwise share information in a community setting;
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, and security specialists;
- Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, protect rights or safety, or respond to legal process;
- Transaction parties in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, transfer, bankruptcy, or similar transaction; and
- Other recipients at your direction or with your consent.
Service providers are expected to process information only for contracted purposes and to use appropriate safeguards, subject to applicable law and agreements.
11. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
As of the Last Updated date, S.O.W. does not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16. We also do not knowingly use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless clearly disclosed and accompanied by required choices.
Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include certain advertising or analytics disclosures. If our practices change or if an applicable law treats a configured technology as a sale or share, we will update this Policy and provide a legally required opt-out method. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where legally required and technically supported.
12. Marketing Choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may still receive non-marketing communications about an application, transaction, account, membership, event, safety matter, or requested support.
If you consent to marketing text messages, you may withdraw consent using the instructions in the message or by contacting us. Your mobile carrier’s message and data rates may apply. We do not require consent to marketing texts as a condition of purchase.
13. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide Services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal requirements, prevent fraud, and protect the community. Retention depends on the type of information, sensitivity, relationship, legal obligations, and operational need.
For example, active account and membership information is generally retained while the relationship continues; transaction and tax records may be retained for legally required periods; support, consent, and dispute records may be retained to document compliance; and backup copies may persist for a limited period before routine deletion or overwriting.
14. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information based on its nature and the risks involved. Measures may include access controls, authentication, provider diligence, secure configurations, backups, staff practices, and incident response.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using strong passwords, protecting credentials, keeping devices updated, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
15. International Processing and Transfers
S.O.W. is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live. Where required, we use an accepted transfer mechanism or other safeguard for international transfers.
16. Your Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on where you live and subject to exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about disclosures. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a privacy regulator.
Submit a request through our Contact page and use the subject “Privacy Request.” Describe the right you want to exercise and the information involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Some information may be exempt, and we may retain information needed to complete transactions, secure systems, comply with law, exercise rights, or maintain permitted records.
17. California Privacy Notice
This section supplements the Policy for California residents. To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies to S.O.W., California residents may have the right to:
- know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected;
- know the categories of sources, purposes, and recipients;
- request deletion or correction, subject to exceptions;
- opt out of sale or sharing;
- limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information;
- receive equal service and pricing when exercising rights; and
- use an authorized agent.
The categories collected during the preceding 12 months are described in Section 2. We collect and disclose those categories for the business and commercial purposes described in Sections 5 and 10. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics beyond purposes permitted by law.
California’s “Shine the Light” law may provide rights concerning certain disclosures for direct marketing. A qualifying request may be submitted through our Contact page with the subject “California Privacy Request.”
18. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Some browsers offer Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) or “Do Not Track” signals. Where legally required and technically supported, we treat a recognized GPC signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for that browser or device. Because there is not a single universally accepted standard for all Do Not Track signals, our response to other signals may depend on the technology and applicable law.
19. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If applicable, individuals in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland may have rights to be informed, access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port data, withdraw consent, and avoid certain solely automated decisions. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
S.O.W. does not currently make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. We may use basic segmentation or recommendations to tailor communications and offerings.
20. Children’s Privacy
The general Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally required parental consent. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it when appropriate.
Family-oriented or youth programming, if offered, may have separate registration, consent, and privacy notices.
21. Photographs, Recordings, and Testimonials
Some events may be photographed or recorded. We will use notices, designated recording areas, releases, or other consent practices appropriate to the context and law. Tell event staff if you have a concern, recognizing that complete avoidance may not always be possible in public or group settings.
We do not use a private story, testimonial, name, image, or voice in public marketing without the permission required by law. You may withdraw future promotional permission by contacting us, though materials already produced or distributed may not be fully retractable.
22. Third-Party Links and Social Features
The Services may link to social networks, embedded media, external websites, member businesses, event vendors, or other third parties. Those services may collect information independently. Review their privacy notices before providing information. A link or mention does not mean S.O.W. controls or endorses the third party.
23. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, Services, or practices. The Last Updated date identifies the latest version. We may provide additional notice of material changes through the website, email, account, or community. If required, we will seek consent before applying a change to previously collected information.
24. Contact Us
Questions or privacy requests may be submitted through the Society of Wealth Contact page. Use the subject “Privacy Question” or “Privacy Request.” Please do not include highly sensitive information in the initial message.
