Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully. They govern your access to and use of the website at societyofwealth.org, Society of Wealth social-club communities, educational programs, events, digital content, communications, and related services operated by Society of Wealth Organization Inc. (“S.O.W.,” “Society of Wealth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By visiting the website, submitting a form, creating or using a community account, registering for an event, purchasing or accessing a membership, course, workshop, retreat, resource, or other offering, or otherwise using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company, nonprofit, household, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

2. About Society of Wealth

S.O.W. is designed for growth-minded individuals who want to improve the quality of their lives while creating meaningful success, strong relationships, and lasting impact. Our guiding philosophy is to cultivate Inner Wealth, create Outer Wealth, and build a lasting legacy. Our programs may address mindset, character, emotional intelligence, leadership, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, career development, health and wellness, travel, relationships, purpose, stewardship, and generational planning.

The Services may include website content, orientations, social-club memberships, private online communities, courses, workshops, cohorts, masterminds, chapters, live or virtual events, retreats, challenges, coaching-style group discussions, downloadable materials, videos, newsletters, and other experiences. The exact features, schedule, price, and availability of an offering may change.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use member-only or paid Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements. We may establish additional eligibility criteria for particular programs, events, travel experiences, or leadership roles.

The Services are not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian who permits a minor to attend a specifically approved family program is responsible for the minor and may be required to sign additional consent and release forms.

4. Accounts, Applications, and Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you apply, register, create an account, purchase, or communicate with us. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly through our Contact page if you believe an account has been compromised.

Membership applications and interest forms do not guarantee admission, access, placement, or availability. We may accept, decline, wait-list, pause, or limit participation in our reasonable discretion, subject to applicable law.

5. Membership Is Personal and Revocable

Membership access is personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable. Unless we expressly approve otherwise, you may not share login credentials, course access, member directories, recordings, worksheets, event links, or other restricted materials with non-members.

Membership does not create an employment, agency, fiduciary, partnership, joint venture, franchise, investment-management, or professional-adviser relationship. Members do not have authority to bind S.O.W. or speak on its behalf unless expressly authorized in writing.

6. The S.O.W. Community Commitment

Our community is grounded in Stewardship, Ownership, and Wisdom. You agree to participate with honesty, respect, personal responsibility, care for others, and a genuine commitment to growth.

• Stewardship: Use time, talent, information, relationships, opportunities, and resources responsibly.
• Ownership: Take responsibility for your choices, participation, conduct, follow-through, and results.
• Wisdom: Apply knowledge thoughtfully, seek appropriate professional guidance, and consider long-term consequences.

Our Community Standards and any event-specific rules are incorporated into these Terms.

7. Respect, Safety, and Personal Boundaries

S.O.W. supports psychologically safer learning environments. Participation in reflective, experiential, mindfulness, movement, discussion, or personal-development activities should be voluntary and informed. You may decline an exercise, pause, request an accommodation, or step away when needed, provided that doing so does not disrupt the safety or rights of others.

Harassment, discrimination, threats, stalking, bullying, sexual misconduct, hate speech, retaliation, coercion, manipulation, exploitation, intimidation, or attempts to create unhealthy dependency are prohibited. Facilitators, leaders, volunteers, and members must respect personal boundaries and may not pressure anyone to disclose sensitive information, make a purchase, enter a business relationship, invest money, or participate beyond their comfort or informed consent.

8. Confidentiality and Member Privacy

Community trust depends on discretion. You agree not to disclose another participant’s personal story, contact information, business information, financial circumstances, health information, family matters, photographs, recordings, or other nonpublic information without that person’s permission.

This community commitment is important, but S.O.W. cannot guarantee that every participant will keep information confidential. Do not share information that you cannot safely risk becoming known. Nothing in these Terms prevents anyone from reporting suspected unlawful conduct, threats, abuse, harassment, discrimination, or safety concerns to appropriate authorities.

9. Networking, Promotions, and Financial Solicitation

S.O.W. may create opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, and support one another. Unless a space is specifically designated for promotion, you may not spam, repeatedly solicit, scrape member information, add members to marketing lists without consent, operate a pyramid or chain-referral program, recruit for unrelated communities, or use access primarily to sell products or services.

You may not request, pool, custody, manage, or invest another member’s money through S.O.W. unless you are independently authorized by law and the activity has been expressly approved in writing by S.O.W. S.O.W. does not endorse a member, business, investment, professional service, fundraising campaign, or opportunity merely because it is discussed in the community.

10. User Content

“User Content” means content you submit, post, upload, display, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Services, including comments, profile information, photographs, videos, testimonials, assignments, discussion posts, and event contributions.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant S.O.W. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Services. Public promotional use of your name, image, voice, story, or testimonial requires any additional permission required by law or an event-specific release.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or creates risk.

11. S.O.W. Intellectual Property

The Services and all S.O.W.-created materials—including the Society of Wealth name, S.O.W. marks, crest, logos, curriculum, frameworks, course names, videos, audio, slide decks, facilitator guides, worksheets, exercises, graphics, page designs, text, and compilations—are owned by or licensed to S.O.W. and protected by intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use materials for your own participation and development. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, sell, sublicense, upload to another platform, train an artificial-intelligence model on, create derivative courses from, remove proprietary notices from, or distribute S.O.W. materials without written permission.

You may print or download a reasonable number of worksheets expressly made available for personal use. Facilitators and organizational licensees must follow the separate license or facilitator agreement applicable to them.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to harm others;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation, credential, outcome, or endorsement;
• circumvent access controls, security, payment, or membership restrictions;
• introduce malware, scrape data, harvest contacts, probe systems, overload infrastructure, or interfere with operation;
• record a private session, conversation, or event without required consent;
• share confidential member information or restricted content;
• use the Services to discriminate, harass, exploit, threaten, defraud, or manipulate;
• use S.O.W. content or member data to build a competing product, database, course, or community; or
• encourage or assist anyone else to do any prohibited act.

13. Educational Purpose; No Professional Advice

S.O.W. provides general education, peer community, personal-development tools, and experiential learning. Content is not individualized financial, investment, securities, accounting, tax, legal, medical, nutrition, fitness, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or other regulated professional advice. Facilitators and guests may share experience or general information, but they do not become your professional adviser merely by participating in an S.O.W. program.

You are responsible for evaluating information and consulting appropriately licensed professionals before making important decisions. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something presented through S.O.W.

14. Financial Literacy and Business Content

Financial-literacy, entrepreneurship, credit, insurance, investing, estate-planning, and business discussions are educational only. S.O.W. does not recommend or arrange securities transactions, manage assets, guarantee financing, provide credit repair, prepare legal documents, sell insurance unless separately disclosed through a properly licensed person, or guarantee income, profit, net worth, business success, debt reduction, or investment performance.

All financial and business decisions involve risk. Past performance, examples, projections, member stories, and hypothetical illustrations do not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for due diligence, professional advice, and decisions involving money, credit, contracts, taxes, insurance, or investments.

15. Wellness, Fitness, and Mental-Health Content

Wellness, fitness, nutrition, meditation, breathwork, movement, and mindfulness activities are general educational experiences, not medical care or psychotherapy. Participation may involve physical or emotional discomfort and is at your own risk. Consult a qualified professional before participating if you have health concerns, are pregnant, take medication, have a history of injury, or have any condition that may affect safe participation.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource. S.O.W. is not an emergency service.

16. Events, Retreats, Travel, and Assumption of Risk

In-person and virtual events may involve travel, physical activity, food, alcohol served by third parties, transportation, lodging, weather, public spaces, technology, or interaction with other participants. Risks can include illness, injury, property loss, delays, cancellations, and conduct by third parties. You are responsible for assessing your ability to participate, obtaining insurance where appropriate, following safety instructions, and complying with venue and travel requirements.

Specific events may require additional waivers, releases, health acknowledgments, travel terms, photo releases, or vendor agreements. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the more specific event terms control for that event.

17. Programs, Schedules, Speakers, and Availability

We may change instructors, facilitators, speakers, curriculum, venue, schedule, format, access period, community platform, features, or program content when reasonably necessary. We may postpone, relocate, convert an event to virtual format, or cancel an offering because of low enrollment, illness, weather, safety, travel disruption, technology failure, government action, force majeure, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes and provide any refund or credit described in the applicable purchase terms or our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

18. Third-Party Platforms and Links

We may use or link to third-party services, including HubSpot for website, forms, and customer-relationship functions; Skool or another provider for private community and membership functions; payment processors; video-conferencing providers; social-media services; event venues; and travel vendors. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and S.O.W. does not control their systems, availability, security, or content.

Your use of a third-party service may require a separate account and acceptance of that provider’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party products, representations, transactions, or conduct except to the extent required by law.

19. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes

Some Services are free and others may require payment. Prices, billing intervals, included features, taxes, deposits, and payment terms are shown at registration or checkout. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for amounts you approve.

You are responsible for accurate billing information and applicable taxes not collected by us. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, request another method, suspend access, or cancel the transaction, subject to law and platform rules.

20. Recurring Memberships and Automatic Renewal

If an offering is sold as a recurring membership or subscription, the checkout page will identify the billing frequency, amount or method for determining the amount, renewal terms, and cancellation method. By enrolling, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

You may cancel through the account or membership-platform controls made available to you, or by contacting us. Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewal charges but does not retroactively reverse charges already incurred. We will provide notices and cancellation options required by applicable automatic-renewal law. Any price change will be communicated as required before it applies.

21. Refunds, Credits, and Chargebacks

Refund eligibility depends on the offering and the terms shown at purchase. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Except as stated there, at checkout, or as required by law, fees are non-refundable after access, materials, or services have been provided.

Before initiating a chargeback, contact us so we can review and attempt to resolve the concern. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension and collection of amounts lawfully owed.

22. Communications, Email, and Text Messages

By providing contact information, you agree that we may send transactional or service communications relating to your application, account, registration, purchase, membership, event, safety, or requested information. Marketing messages are sent in accordance with your choices and applicable law. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message.

If you separately consent to text messages, message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Reply instructions may be provided in the message. You remain responsible for keeping contact information current.

23. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. By using the Services, you acknowledge those practices. Please use good judgment before submitting sensitive information in community discussions or open-text forms.

24. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. A copyright owner or authorized agent may submit a notice through our Contact page using the subject “Copyright Notice” and the information described in our Copyright and DMCA Policy. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers when appropriate.

25. Accessibility

We aim to make our digital content and programs reasonably accessible. Please review our Accessibility Statement and contact us if you encounter a barrier or need a reasonable accommodation. Some third-party platforms and venues may have separate accessibility capabilities.

26. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may warn, restrict, suspend, remove content, or terminate access when we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, failed to pay, created safety or legal risk, disrupted the community, misused confidential information, or engaged in conduct inconsistent with S.O.W.’s mission.

When practical, we may provide notice and an opportunity to respond, but immediate action may be taken to protect people, systems, or the organization. Termination does not eliminate obligations that by their nature should survive, including payment, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.

27. Disclaimers of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” S.O.W. DISCLAIMS EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND RESULTS.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of harmful components, or suitable for every person. We do not guarantee admission, relationships, employment, financing, business opportunities, health outcomes, personal transformation, income, wealth, or legacy outcomes.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

28. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, S.O.W. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, FACILITATORS, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL; OR PERSONAL DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF S.O.W. ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO S.O.W. FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited, or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

29. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless S.O.W. and its directors, officers, employees, facilitators, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, User Content, violation of these Terms, infringement of rights, or misuse of the Services. We may control the defense of a claim subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate.

30. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a lawsuit, either party agrees to provide written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution and to allow at least 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it. Notices to S.O.W. may be initiated through the Contact page with the subject “Legal Notice.” This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief, using small-claims court when eligible, or meeting a legal filing deadline.

31. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where federal law or the mandatory law of your jurisdiction applies. Unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise, disputes not resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with lawful jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

32. No Waiver; Severability

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a court finds any provision unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

33. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, law, technology, or business practices. The “Last Updated” date identifies the latest revision. Material changes may be communicated by website notice, email, account notice, or another reasonable method. Your continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.

34. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your access without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the Services, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

35. Entire Agreement and Order of Priority

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Standards, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and any applicable registration, purchase, event, facilitator, licensing, or membership terms form the agreement between you and S.O.W. regarding the Services. If terms conflict, the more specific written terms for an offering control over these general Terms for that subject.
